for camper van rental in New Zealand
Full cover comprehensive New Zealand campervan rental vehicle insurance is already included in the quoted New Zealand campervan rental rates.
The insurance excess (insurance deductible) depends in New Zealand on the age of the camper van rental driver (see chart).
At the start of your camper van rental period you will be provided with the opportunity to reduce the insurance excess to either NZ$ 500.-- or NZ$ 150.-- if preferred. Please see the following insurance excess chart for more details on the reduction of the insurance excess.
Please note that insurance excess reduction for your New Zealand camper van rental is NOT compulsory but is available if you prefer to have the insurance excess reduced. For drivers that do not hold a full driver licence for at least 12 months preceding the day of loss/damage the excess age category of 18 - 20 years does apply.
